The MITI aims to usher Malaysia to a sustainable, advanced, and inclusive socio-economic environment. Other than monitoring and evaluating economic policies, programmes and outcome-based projects, MITI is also responsible to improve efficiency of facilitation with stakeholders.
Since Halal-centric industries is gaining momentum worldwide, MITI, through HDC and HIPER is providing support in strengthening the capacity and capability of Halal businesses that could bring Malaysia at the forefront of the Halal global market.
This programme is also one of MITI’s efforts in delivering the development objectives in the 11th Malaysia Plan and make Malaysia’s Halal industry as a source of competitive advantage and catalyst for economic growth.
